Motion Control Store is an online B2B seller of industrial components from Gas springs to Hydraulics servicing, targeting the needs of the Industrial and Manufacturing sector.
Motion Control Store approached me to design a logo for their new eCommerce store and a brand style guide. This helped identify the core branding which could be used in the future to create a streamlined and consistent visual experience for customers.
The MCS team provided an extensive brief, including a moodboard of images and colours; from this I was able to establish what they were looking for and create several options for their consideration.
For each design, I demonstrated how different colour applications would look and how the logo would function in a responsive environment (including social media, in print and on uniforms) to ensure it worked in every capacity for them. The final design incorporated the company name and it’s industrial components (illustrating motion and connectivity which was a key requirement in their brief). Along with this, I advised on a style guide (including colours, font and logo usage) to create core branding for them, in keeping with what customers would strongly associate with their industry.
